We spent a relaxing day on the lake. Dave’s mom brought us lunch and our re-supplies for the next leg of the trip. I could tell Dave was scheming. He proposed that we stay another night at the Oxbow in an attempt to thwart The Beast. The last thing we wanted was to be on the same itinerary as that dog for the rest of the trail. I happily agreed.
